Topic: King Crimson vs. Periphery Posted: April 24 2011 at 01:47 |
King Crimson. Like a contest between the Beatles and Herman's Hermits.

I love both bands so much. But I CANNOT stop listening to the Periphery debut. And King Crimson is old news to me. And Periphery's vocalist really appeals to me for some reason (though I'm not usually a fan of metal-core, these guys are an exception).

I clicked play on the video because I didn't know anything about that band... I regretted it

You mean you don't hear the similarities at all? Should it matter how many albums a band has? If they've got good music out it shouldn't matter how much material a band has.

I hate to be one to argue, but I disagree.
And I'm glad you enjoy them, Anthony, but it was a joint Shred effort. All of them

King Crimson because they're not slightly above mediocre.

I'm definitely in the minority here and among the rest of their fans but I am actually very fond of Spencer's vocal work with Periphery. Casey or Chris might have been better but that doesn't bug me. I still prefer to always listen to the studio album as opposed to the instrumental version.

King Crimson. Periphery needs to get rid of that god-awful singer.

It starts with a P and ends with Periphery.
That's right. King Crimson.
