Right, I have just finished my first full length experimental/noise/ambient/drone/electronic/industrial album, Whatever Is Created Cannot Be Destroyed...

The album is a programtic instrumental album, using noises, soundtrack esque atmopsheres, harsh frequenies, industrial loops and odd walls of panic like force to represent the earth being created.

It has resemblence to Tribes Of Neurot, Merzbow, Brian Eno, Neurosis, Sunn 0))), Acid Mothers Temple, Boris etc

The compositions are quite lengthy and it really is quite interesting to listen to, and at times their is even some psychadelic freak out moments

So...is the album match the criteria of this site

Man, I'm really diggin' this stuff. I don't have any say in the matter at hand, but I just thought I'd voice my opinion about how much I enjoy it.

When can I get the album?

Thanks, and the album is streamed on You Tube & My Space

I want to make the album as a free download, but I'm trying to find ways to do that. I might just have to email the album to people

You could set up a bandcamp.com account. I'm not entirely sure, but I think those are free to use.

IDK, we're not approving drone bands ATM. Sunn is currently under re-evaluation and has been rejected many, many times by every incarnation of the PMT so far.

This probably won't roll.

Consider there will never be any chance that noise-ambient bands (like Merzbow, Hanatarash in Japan) can be included in PA. Disapprove

I'm sorry but I really can't see the progressiveness in this. Of course I've never been a fan of noise so that may play a part in it.

Never say never, some bands may have slipped in already but those would rather be exceptions...
But at this stage I can't see how they would fit in any of PA's Prog-genres. It's simply not Prog or related to Prog in any way. It's a different sort of experimentation altogether.

I think Merzbow was the first real noise artist...next to Lou Reed's Metal Machine

following this thought it would be necessary to add artist that have nothing with progressive rock, such as Linkin Park. They pushed things forward, but I'm sure they aren't progressive. Wink
