Richard Youngs has been releasing albums for over twenty years. His page on Wikipedia lists his music genres as experimental, folktronica, progressive rock. He has been compared to Robert Wyatt in the music press. Ten years ago he recorded an album with Kawabata Makoto of Acid Mothers Temple. His prog band Ilk have released a number of albums.
I propose that Richard Youngs be considered for inclusion on the PA database Edited by Stool Man - April 27 2011 at 14:04 |

Can you please link to places where we can listen to his music (and that of Ilk too?)

Hmm, interesting stuff. Let me embed those samples you posted...
^ this sounds like prog electronic or related to it, IMO. ^ this I have no idea what it is. Some more samples: ^ this is very different, sounds like King Crimson And a lot of the samples I checked sound like pure folk / singer-songwriter stuff, or like indie-rock. This is really puzzling, I don't know what to think. |

Thanks.
He's done a lot of different styles over the years. He's not that obscure, there's a Richard Youngs section in HMV on Oxford Street |
