Farmers Market is a norwegian band that combines jazz, balkan music, bulgarian, and gypsy music and plays it with rock instruments. they are seriously virtouses who should be in an archives which celebrates musicianship, and PA is such a site

This is certainly some interesting stuff LOL
I'm more inclined to alert the ZART team than the fusion or folk team, and it's definitely not raga. I guess I'll drop a notice in the ZART team and see what they say.

Nice, but i'm really not sure... only two tracks so far - the first might justly bind up w/ the klezmer type stuff [Zorn influenced etc], though have to admit that style has always been on the cusp for me. also, although this is in that range, it seems rather less avant. & this second track not at all [the vocals sound like some Stevie Wonder actually!], and it's, for the most part, def. jazz not avant. more listening needed, but so far i wld vote No I think....
