My favorite albums by each band, I like Tago Mago just a bit better though.

I haven't been able to get into Can very much, though Tago Mago is the only Can album I have been able to get into, and I like quite a bit. I still have to go with Yeti though.

Yeti......because whenever I listen  to Can, and I own several cd's and lp's by them,  I get ....annoyed.

Why is that...?

Allright then - I´ll go for Yeti then.
wait a minute...erm
Both these albums are very important to the Kraut scene in each their own way. Two ways of experimenting, jamming - throwing blueprints of popular music in the bin. I for one can´t choose. Maybe Yeti today - seeing as I heard Soap Shop Rock this morning whilst brushing my teeth.

After finally hearing Yeti, I can say it's quite a tough choice. Both are excellent overall but Yeti is more consistant, while Can's has better highs (the last three songs) but certainly worse moments (that 18 minute snoozefest).

What? Halleluhwah a 18 minute snoozefest?!

Two of Tago Mago's last three songs are generally considered the worst: Aumgn and Peking O. I kind of love them myself, but not as much as anything on the on side 1 and 2.

Don't care about that underlined bit. Wink Those two + Bring Me Coffee Or Tea are blissful experiences, through and through, every moment perfection. Hallwluhwah is either 10 minutes too long or needs some extra tracking to add to the song. Not enough happens for too long for me.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me

"Aumgn" is what made me really fall for Tago Mago -- I love it. Yeti is also excellent, but Tago Mago for me.
Just a fanboy passin' through.
