Peter Hammill's Over, now that is depressive and melancholic (and wonderful)

I´ve listened properly your sample and must to admit that´s really depressive, destructive and not inspiring!
 
Incidentally, I own GY!BE discography on mp3, but only tucked somewhere in my drawer. Maybe if I´d want to committ suicide, I´ll pull out it again.Dead

So, is Hancock perhaps an etalon for a righteous musical knowledge? About Jazz Rock, I rather prefer Colosseum, Cobham or Mahavishnu than him. Herbie is too experimental and "free" for me.

No, you rated one of my desert island discs a **, so I wrote that we have different preferences. Your jazz rock-preferences confirms that. Too free, too dark, too experimental, too depressive..., I don't have those issues.
