the same concept as with the Batman & Robin movie poll,  rate it in a number your think this movie diserves from the scale between 0/10,

One of the most revolutionary brave comedic films from the 80s where thw two lead rolls playes many roles in the same movie.

I have seen it 14 times Big smile, but i would not rate it higher then 8/10 a good movie but not a masterpiece but close to be one, a nearly masterpiece. Tongue

I give it a 5, not a big fan of this kind of goofy comedy (plus wasn't Murphy accused of stealing the idea?)--  if I'm going to watch a silly 80s comedy it's probably gonna be Weekend at Bernie's or Tootsie

I had to go with 1 as I have only seen it once.  Beverly Hills Cop is my favorite.  Also liked Trading Places.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I liked the movie, pretty funny in some spots. The bath tub scene with Murphy and the servant girls is good......My problem with this movie is Arsenio Hall......100% a Murphy wanna be and I think he rode Eddie's coat tails for some time. Eddie could have picked a better side kick....I never thought Arsenio was funny at all.

I laughed out loud almost to tears when I saw this in the theater when it first came out in a few places. But it didn't age very well.

The only comedies I go back to from that era are What About Bob? and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

7/10, very funny movie.  "Hey, baby, I'm almost single. My husband's on death row.
"Girl, you look so good, someone ought to put you on a plate and sop you up with a biscuit."

I watched this only the other day and i've watched this loads of times and still enjoy it. I gave this an 8. Trading Places on the otherhand would have got a 10 as it's one of my all time faves Smile

7 / 10, because it has its moments. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's not. The storyline is good.  When it comes on TV, I wouldn't zap it away. It's entertaining alright. So it deserves a 7/10.

Used to be one of my favourites when I was younger. Haven't seen it for over 6 years probably, so I can't remember much of it. No vote.

I love this movie. I wish Eddie would go back and make movies like this again.
