When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night. |

1. Way to resurrect an ancient thread
2. The fact that Beardfish isn't dominating saddens me. :( |

Hmmmm.....2 very talented bands .......I'll go with Spocks Beard only because I find it difficult at times to assimilate what Beardfish is up to.

I only have a few albums by each - I listen to Spock's Beard more often.
Both offer top-notch Prog. |

I've been waiting in constant, crippling fear of the day that someone
would make the joke of "Spock's Beardfish". In a way, it's kind of
cathartic, this oblivion.
Anyway, Neal Morse for me is on another plane of existence from other modern prog artists. Beardfish are top-notch, but I think they took a dive after Destined Solitaire. |

Tough pick. I've heard more Spock's Beard albums that I like, but Sleeping in Traffic is by far better than anything by them.

Spock's Beard by far! Beardfish is one of those bands I kind of lost interest in completely. Whereas I can't get enough of SB.

Beardfish hands down...liked them, then saw them live, and was blown away
Rikard blazes his own trail, and i feel like Spock's is a 'generic prog' tribute band
