Hi ProgArchives readers,

We like to announce the new album of Fourteen Twentysix, including a stunning guest vocal appearance by Mick Moss from Antimatter (ex-Anathema). The album will be out this january as a HQ digital download, Digipack and Limited Edition Box set.

Check out www.fourteentwentysix.com for :
  • exclusive video trailer
  • interview with Mick Moss from Antimatter (click through to our website at the bottom of the page)
  • artwork downloads

Our previous 2010 album LIGHTTOWN CLOSURE got several 4-star reviews here at ProgArchives. We like to thank everyone here for their wonderful support!

Fourteen Twentysix is the cryptic alias of Dutch five-pieced experimental rock outfit, that crafts genuinely moody alt-post rock with an electronic edge.
Their filmic music has a definite 'dark soul', which can be both moving as soothing, providing something new with each rotation.

In their short career the band managed to generate over 50.000 free music downloads and sharing the stage with bands such as Turin Brakes(UK) and Antimatter(UK).

Looking forward to this. I was one of the reviewers who gave a four star review to the debut, and I hope that the new one moves the band to greater heights!

Fourteen Twentysix and Prog Sphere Promotions are organizing a special deal to "give away" 25 signed CDs of the band's first first full-length album called "Lighttown Closure". There's just a small thingie you have to do... We need you write a short review of any of the band's releases (Songs to Forget, Chromatic, Lighttown Closure, APRX|ETA 1 & 2) to ensure yourself a copy of the album. More info very soon!

The dutch alternative / dark rock / ambient outfit Fourteen Twentysix and Prog Sphere Promotions bring some very interesting news and an offer for you. Namely, the band has decided to do an acoustic LiveStream show which will exclusively be streamed from the Prog Sphere website. The whole event is scheduled for October 20th, from 8PM to 10PM (CET). The show will be recorded, so in case you miss it, you will be able to see the whole thing all over again and again.

Fourteen Twentysix

So, if you are willing to experience something like this, tune in and watch it LIVE, chat with other people and when the show is over the band members will join you and answer possible questions you guys and gals might have. We will keep you posted about this event through the Prog Sphere website, Prog Sphere and 1426 Facebook & Twitter profiles, forums, et al.

But this is not everything. The band and Prog Sphere Promotions organize a „giveaway action“ of the band’s first full-length album called Lighttown Closure, meaning that there are 25 signed CDs waiting for you. What we need in return is you write a short (or long) review of the album which can be streamed on the band’sBandcamp profile in its entirety and send it to [email protected]. Be sure to write your contact info, to where the album should be shipped and we will get back to you. This action lasts… well, while supplies last. Don’t hesitate and DON’T MISS THIS OUT! Who knows, maybe we are making the history here.

Besides, you can make a donation and help the band during the recording process of their upcoming album which will be released at the beginning of 2012. In that case, you get the signed copy of Lighttown Closure with a personal written message from the band and all the goodies that come along with making a donation.
