Tough! I'm stuck between TDWoT, V, and Odyssey.

I've always professed Paradise Lost to be a Prog-Metal masterpiece, but I can see why very few people actually agree with me :)

It's pretty close between Paradise Lost, The Odyssey, and The New Mythology Suite for me

Divine Wings, the Odyssey, and Iconoclast are all excellent, but I had to go with Paradise Lost. I listened to that CD so often that it stopped playing in less than a year! Luckily I had ripped it into my computer. There's not a single dull or less-than-amazing moment on the whole album.

Mythology Suite for me as well, with Twilight and Divine Wings not too far behind.
Haven't heard their newest one, mainly because of my disappointment with Paradise Lost.. Their older albums appeals much more to me.

The divine wings of tragedy in my opinion is there only album in which the successfully mix metal and prog. Albums like Paradise lost are just far too metal and not nearly progressive enough for me to consider prog at all.
So The Divine Wings of Tragedy is my vote. |
