Again, side by side in the symphonic chart with the same rating. So which is it for you? The keyboard-heavy ELP debut or the mythical guitar-laden solo debut of Steve Hackett?

Hackett's debut by a long way. My heart says ELP is a B-, while Voyage of the Acolyte is an A-, and my second favorite album to come from someone in Genesis (including Genesis).

Love both but ELP has a more consistent sound and better production IMHO.
Three cheers for the trio. |

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

Acolyte, it's like a lost Genesis album.

Voyage of the Acolyte, but not by much. Still,I prefer Hacket over ELP.

I think ELP's debut is their best effort, but it can't beat the mystical dreaminess of Voyage of the Acolyte, which is what I voted for.

I'm not the biggest ELP fan, but the debut is very good. However, Hackett made some superb albums and Voyage is one of the best along with Spectral Mornings.
So Hackett gets my vote by a short head.

Two absolute top albums in terms of music.
I chose ELP's debut. |

VotA is like listening to your imagination. Best Hackett album and get's my vote here.
ELP's debut is excellent, though not nearly as strong as Trilogy or BSS, IMO.
