Pretty sure Neal Morse has `A Proggy Christmas' coming out this year, prog interpretations of Christmas carols, but I think you might have to sign up to his `Inner Circle' club to get a copy of it?

I have to admit, I'm very curious to hear how this turns out!

My favourite Christmas compilation albums are not Prog, but Goth, released on the Projekt label they're called Excelsis and Excelsis 2: Winter's Song they have some interesting darkwave and gothic takes xmas standards. One track from the 2nd album that may appeal to Prog fans is this by Human Drama:

(sharp-eyed youtube browsers will also spot that Mrs Fripp has covered this Lake/Sinfield song too)

(Eventhough Human Drama are a Goth band, they have covered Wish You Were Here, The Carpet Crawlers and Letter To Hermione)

What?

Mr. Hankey isn't prog, but is a good antidote to standard Christmas music.
"Hey there Mr. Muslim
Merry f**king Christmas
Put down that book the Koran
And hear some holiday wishes.

In case you haven't noticed
It's Jesus's birthday.
So get off your heathen Muslim ass
and f**king celebrate."...(Mr. Garrison's song)LOL

You also get Hitler singing O Tannenbaum, The Most Offensive Song Ever (Kenny sings it so it's hard to tell but apparently it's about Mary), the cheery Dead, Dead, Dead (one day we'll all be dead), Chef sings What The Hell Child Is This?...

Tori's album is more of a winter themed album than a specifically Christmas one.  Of those four the Tull album should meet anyone's criteria.  Kitaro would also be controversial.  I think he's not on this site for being too new agey, but a good set of synth instrumental Christmas music.

Also worth considering:

A Charlie Brown Christmas: The Original Sound Track Recording Of The CBS Television Special

I haven't hear it yet, but this new this year:

Moody Blues were probably no longer prog at this point, but it's still a nice mix of old songs and originals.

All songs are done in the style of a classic prog band.

Then there is this classic:

And I have a signed copy of this one:

Also, Chicago has released their 3rd Christmas album although they left the fringes of prog many years ago.

If we're including Twisted Sister, how about this one?

Cue responses telling me to stick to the prog theme Approve

Well, Halford and company are closer to prog than Dee Snider and company so it is a step in the right direction. LOL

Of course the single was a solo Lake release, but as this collection includes some ELP stuff I guess it got the full ELP label
