Agartha are Adams Phillips and Loren Taw from Nashville, USA. They were released a debut album in 2011 http://agartha.bandcamp.com/album/v

Hmmm....it's metal all right. Don't care much for the vocals at all - sounds like a creature off an old Doctor Who program after being shot by a Dalek. I'm not sure if this is really prog though...sounds a bit like a kind of distorted symphonic gothic metal to me on the whole, and the tags on bandcamp don't include the word 'progressive' either (ambient, gothic, industrial, occult, post black metal, soundscape...). Karl or Andy will of course be the best to judge. Let's see what they make of it.  Ermm

Sounds like prog death metal to me, with plenty of influences. I'll notify the PMT. Good stuff!

Not clear-cut but prog death metal with plenty of influences sounded about right in the end.

Added for T/E.
