Coming in at just under 40 minutes, the album is complete. Big smile

I really can't say this enough; a huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed. This music was created by all of you just as much as by myself and I sincerely thank you all for the opportunity to put together what is (in my opinion at least Embarrassed) a pretty cool project. I truly appreciate it and if any one of you out there needs any help on future projects I would be more than happy to do what I can to return the favor.

On a more logistical note, if anyone would like to be credited on the bandcamp page by something other than their PA handle (or, heaven forbid, I accidentally left someone off), let me know and I will change it ASAP.

It's never too late, man Smile . I send, like, six rar-files every day. Speaking of which, I should send some right this moment.

Man, it has just hit me how my Egnator records like a dream.  My old Mesa/Boogie, as much as I loved it, was a disaster to mic up

What's your playing style?

Mostly jazz-ish.  I also do some funky rock, drone, folk etc.  Used to play metal but haven't really been motivated to in ages.

Funny, I was about to say the same thing about the guitarist.

Song is very cool, quite relaxing.  When does the album come out?

Well, I don't know, the bassist also sounds really handsome.

And yes, in my ever withstanding state of douchebaggery, I forgot to say the song sounds awesomeClap. Expect more random bass noodling from me in the future, whether you want it or not Big smile.

Probably pretty soon. I'll probably do one more track and then put the whole shebang up on bandcamp. I'm coming up on 40 minutes of material and that's about where I like to cap my projects. Then it's on to the next thing. Wink

Another short, simple little thing to balance out the noisy madness of the last one. Notably, this is also the only track where I didn't do any drastic electronic manipulation on the clips: no extreme stretching, pitch changing or effect adding: just rearrangement and some very slight echo on some of the parts. Nonetheless I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Big smile

Thanks to frippism, triceratopsoil and dayvenkirq.

PS @Dayvenkirq: I edited the credits on the last one to include Mr. Corelli. Thanks for the heads up.

These long ones are very nice indeed, there is so much happening all around. I'm gonna be sending more sounds as well.

Thanks to Dayvenkirq, Historian9, Vompatti, and Triceratopsoil.

Here I sincerely apologize for one thing: the strings you've heard on the recent video (1:14 - 1:23) are the work of one Archangelo Corelli. Gotta give him credit for that.

BTW, I've smelt some talent starting at 6:09 on piano. Why can't this be used in pop music of today Big smile ? I've also heard this noise intrusion a-la Klaus Schulze. Very nice in that third quarter. Well done Smile .

Another short little thing, this time made primarily from clips from historian9 and Dayvenkirq, but also featuring some clips from Pekka and triceratopsoil and some samples from Black Sabbath and Negura Bunget. Enjoy!

Hello again,

As they used to say on Monty Python, "Now for something completely different." This third track is far more drone-like, with a more ambient texture then the first two. What I did for this one, rather than just sort of arranging clips people sent me, was stretch them out, electronically manipulate them, rinse, and repeat until the final product was completely indistinguishable from the starting elements. Thanks to historian9, Pekka, and dreadpirateroberts, though I rather doubt you'll actually be able to pick out your clips in the electronic mess that this became. As an added note, I also used sections of The Beatles' "A Day In The Life" and Kansas' "The Pinnacle," though I would imagine they're rather indistinguishable as well. Enjoy!

Photo is by Dan Keusal, slightly modified by myself.
