This, except for those two pesky songs on Tarkus...
"The Only Way" ruins the album more for me, though, so I don't particularly care about the joke songs.  Bitches Crystal is terrible too.

I think the music is fine on that track, it's the lyrics I find toe curling.

I've nothing against bands being 'funny' from time to time, but I never felt that Genesis did humour very well, post Gabriel.

As far as Wind & Wuthering goes, I think the weaker tracks are 'Your own special way' and 'Wot Gorilla' They had far better material to draw on at that time. However, the brilliance of the other tracks on the album, means no one track actually ruins the album for me.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I couldn't agree more, in fact most of the second side of tarkus is not even close to the first, not to mention their debut.
'are you ready eddy?' what the hell is that??

"Your Own Special Way" is the one that gets me. I tolerate "More Fool Me" well enough.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Oh no... i thought someone would mention this, since i read some reviews stating the same. CryI honestly think this is one of the greatest improvisational songs ever, what a bass!!! all the band seems to have the exact idea of what the song is all about. I even like those 4 minutes silence of jiggling sounds between each other, what a great atmosphere! When i discovered it was taken from a concert ,it maid me love KC even more. But that's only me.

I love Providence, its so interesting to just imagine the 4 of them on stage playing this off the cuff. Te rhythm section is particularly brilliant.

"Your Own Special Way" is instrumentally very nice. Rutherford actually tuned all 12 strings to their own tones, and the mood works for me.

But the lyrics make me want to impale myself on a bowling ball.

More Fool Me is crap but I also never liked The Battle Of Epping Forest.

I *love* Foxtrot except for Get 'Em Out By Friday which has always irritated me for some reason.
