In the prog world, only one of these bands deserves mention: KANSAS.
 
Early Chicago has merit as a "fusion" act, but Kansas' odd time signatures, mysticism-tinged lyrics and classical-style arrangements put them firmly in the prog camp.
 
The first 3 albums have a few boogie-style songs, but are overwhelmingly prog.

And after 8 years of career......So not talking about Kansas early career.
