Caress of Steel is great. Its the first album of epic songs and I kinda see it as a prequel to 2112.

Indeed it's great. Sometimes i like it more than 2112. Caress of Steel is still fresh to me, the epics are truely impressive. This is difficult to make because they are my favorite band, so here's 15. Missions is an amazing song off of the massively underrated, Hold Your Fire. 1. Cygnus: Hemispheres 2. 2112 3. The Necromancer 4. Natural Science 5. La Villa Strangiato 6. Xanadu 7. A Farewell to Kings 8. Subdivisions 9. Mission 10. Limelight -------- 11. The Camera Eye 12. The Weapon 13. Analog Kid 14. Freewill 15. Double Agent

^ Great to see Mission in your list! Hold Your Fire is probably my favourite 80's Rush album along with Signals, of course.

I like Signals, Hold Your Fire, and Permanent Waves more than Moving Pictures right now.

Actually, crap, I forgot that Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures were 80's albums!
I always think of them as 70's albums. Okay, what I really meant was that Hold Your Fire and Signals are my two favourites, post 81.

Great to see some 90's material. Maybe not Prog, but it's still awesome Rush music! I love The Pass! Neil and Ged have stated that it's one of the most emotional songs they've ever written. Alex's solo is amazing, as well. |
