I have a couple Barco del Sol albums and have liked the band muchly though I hadn't listened to them in a number of years, and this is the first time I'm hearing Cazuela De Condor, and I am mighty impressed.  I will surely get that album.  Cazuela De Condo gets my vote.

You know, it's kind of frustrating that we are always the same people posting on these threads. But to tell you the truth, I'm enjoying doing this way much more than back to the time when I did the Post 70's World Cup. Thanks to this thread I'm getting to know tons of great bands that I probably would have never discovered otherwise (Cazuela de Condor, Galie, Octopus, Flor De Loto, kRé, Decibel)

I really appreciate you doing these polls because I am discovering so much excellent music due to them (like with the ones you listed there that are all so good).  Thanks!

^ +1 more, thanks. I really liked Cazuela de Condor much better. A Barca do Sol isn't really my kind of music. Though, to be completley honest, if I had heard the wrong 2 songs from "Los Jaivas" first, I might not have wanted to know anything more about them. Now, at least "La Poderosa Muerte" is among my favourite prog songs. Some other songs from the same album (Alturas de Matchu Pitchu) are rather nice, and a few others just aren't for me. I guess I would like to know some other songs from albums prior to this one.

^Thanks to all of you for participating here.

And Dellinger, I absolutely agree with you about Los Jaivas. They didn't click with me until I heard La Poderosa Muerte. Astonishing track.

Indeed, quiet an interesting combination of stiles in one single song. And against all odds, it works.

This competition is really not about who wins, it's about discovering new bands for sure, so Morningrise keep on the good work Clap. i'm definitely going with Cazuela.. some great stuff there.

But i must say, Morningrise that it depends a lot on the videos you post, the Barca Do Sol videos are not so impressive, maybe there are better ones.

Thank you for the kind words.

Before I post the videos I try to do a little research for each band (though occasionally there may be some cases like Jaen Kief where I find only 2 videos in youtube to post). In the case of Barca Do Sol I don't remember why I put the first video, but for the second one,  I've read in wikipedia that Lady Jane was one of Barca Do Sol's biggest hits, which doesn't necessarily mean that it's their best track of course, but things like that help me decide sometimes. Other times I just make up my mind by reading reviews here on PA or listening to different samples in youtube (Cuando Lo Cotidiano Se Vuelve Siniestro by Cazuela De Condor hooked me up right after listening to it for just 2 seconds, so it HAD to be here).

Of course this process has its flaws, because it involves either my or other people's personal experience with each sample. And not everyone will agree with my or other people's tastes. So my advise in order not to depend on my judgement or destiny, is to check for other videos in youtube before voting, if possible.
