Excellent, interesting write up, I love Fusion Orchestra and the Symph genre generally. I have yet to hear Fusion Orchestra 2, I'll have to check this out. Thanks.

He is a god guy, I just think he was surprised I didn't at least give it 4 stars when he thought him and I had very similar tastes. I think many who are into keyboard driven Prog will like this a lot though.

^ thanks John - strange to hear this since Ben is a really nice guy. I thought the album was really good with some improvement potentials.

Oh and I appreciated Aapostos' review of Patchwork Cacophony if only that I had some of the same opinions and didn't feel it was a 4 star album. I did get some feedback from Mr. Bell about my review and it wasn't a positive experience, lets put it that way.

I wanted to say that I enjoyed Tszirmay's recent review of Garden Shed by England.
One of my favorite obscure prog albums from the old days. btw..I attempted to post a social review comment but when I hit comment it did some kind of Facebook connection to someone called Lynn Spenser...???? btw I don't have a facebookie account. What...?

Yes, I'm a big fan of BR. I'd say start with their latest, Thou Shalt Boogie!, perhaps their most proggiest/spaciest album, but you can't go wrong with any of their three preceding regular studio albums, YLMaH, Jitterbug (which features Elephant9's Ståle Storløkken on Hammond on a couple of tracks) and ALBoBB, either.

Oh and great to read Michael's review of Deuter's incredible "D" album, a Krautrock classic. The Aussiebird strikes again!

Oh, and I think I was the only one who had them on the list for album of the year. But hopefully some of those who read your review will take an interest in checking these talented guys' music out, as the band deserves more attention from the members of this site than they get.

Thanks Audun! I was actually really surprised I was the first to review it as i've seen them mentioned quite a few times, especially in relation to the "Best of" for 2014.

Quality review from Paul (Nightfly) on Karnataka's latest
Having listened to the band's previous albums, I can fully appreciate if I am going to like it or not. Nice descriptions and "visualisation" of the music. Short and sweet. |

Great Krokofant review, John! I've wanted to review that one for quite some time, but I'm not much of a reviewer, never seem to find the right words, and you described it so much better than I ever could. Thanks!

I listened to several tunes off of their On Dry Land album last night and really enjoyed it. The upfront bass, passionate vocals and interesting lyrics all stood out.
