In anticipation for the world premiere of the film which was last Friday, June 5th - at the Reno Tahoe International Film Festival, Nevada, USA, at 4:00PM - the team unveiled the OFFICIAL TRAILER for Subterranea! There was a second screening of the film on Sunday, June 7th, at 2:00PM as well. |

The deal was negotiated by Ed Seaman from MVD and co-producers Mathew Miller and Brandon Woodard on behalf of Birdman Films. Subterranea stars Bug Hall as “The Captive”, who was locked in a dark cell as a small child and was raised in complete isolation, never seeing daylight or even another human being. Over twenty years later, without warning, he is released into society with nothing but the clothes on his back. Determined to find out who he is, The Captive discovers that he’s the centerpiece of a dangerous orchestrated sociological experiment and sets off to find the truth about his shadowed existence, ultimately leading to a thrilling confrontation with his maker, “The Provider” (William Katt). The US release of Subterranea is now upon us! The film has also been released a day early via Vimeo. Follow the link to stream or download the film now.
UK prices (at current exchange rates) are: Rent (stream for 48 hour period) - £3.25 Buy (stream or download any time) - £10.62 According to a facebook post there are no plans for any screenings in Europe lined up at the moment. The people behind the film are not actually opposed to the idea, but just need a little help with getting in contact with the right people, and maybe some folks on the ground helping out with a little of the leg work and logistics.

Thanks for the update. I'm wondering if it will ever land on Netflix or Amazon Instant Video?! If not I'm quite happy to fork out for a Blu Ray.
