Nuito are an experimental math rock/post-rock trio who formed in Kyoto, Japan in 2004. Their music is defined by tapping guitars, slap bass and spastic drums. Nuito rapidly changes time signatures and insert new melodies in the middle of their songs, creating a very unique sound. Their experimental attitude is not about musical destruction or collaboration, but reconstruction. - Last.FM Bio.
They've released 1 studio album, Unutella, and 2 VERY elusive EPs N^1 and Anaphylaxis. I can't find any info on the EPs but here are some tracks from the wonderful Unutella. I think they are clearly Math Rock. Great stuff. :D

pretty noisy stuff, but interesting and they do have a Math sound-- could use other another opinion or two, but I'm afraid I'd probably vote No for Mathrock because of the band's extreme approach and Experimental/Noise foundation

I agree they have a more harsh sound, but i really think their math approach is very prominent.

That last song sounds like math. I hear both noise rock and post rock in the other songs but the math element dominates. All the songs cut off at the end as if the whole album flows as one piece. Great stuff anyway.

Hmmm.... Definitely math based here. I hear the noisy aspect, but I'm inclined to say that's more due to the chaotic nature of all the different parts meshing together simultaneously than any preference to "noise." If they really are going to be thrown off of math I'd be willing to give them a try in Heavy, but I would think this would be a shoe in in math.

Will do. I'll get right on it.
I'm finding it difficult finding additional information, even the names of the members are elusive. I'll keep on the lookout and continue to search. I'll just need some time. Edited by Horizons - July 15 2012 at 22:00 |

Nuito is a trio Math Rock band formed in Kyoto, Japan in 2004. Their approach to Math Rock can be described as hectic and aggressive, having talented tapping styles, slap bass, and astonishingly complex percussion. Their progressive compositions contain multiple melodies and time signatures to create a very unique sound, with them blending noise and dense math compositions. They released Unutella in 2008. or...... Sorry for the quality of pictures. The band is truly elusive so there isn't much with them, info or media.
