You want bad? Try Mirrors 2 Or rather... don't. I thought Mirrors was a good, modern, original horror movie; well filmed, well acted & genuinely spooky. Mirrors 2 on the other hand was unwatchabley bad.

^Anything with time travel is inexorably flawed. Something damned near ALL Star Trek movies suffered. I didn't hate T3 is much as most. But thanks for mentioning it. T2 is one for my bad movie/good sequel thread.

I can't believe that Terminator 3 has been let off the hook in this poll. I watched it some time ago and had to force myself to finish it. I'd rather spend 90 minutes looking down a dirty toilet bowl

No one voted for Star Trek 5? I realize most of the films listed are garbage but can anyone forget Shatner, Nimoy and Kelly singing "Row row row your boat"? Shivers

Any Jaws sequel. No more of a story to tell after the first. Universal were money whores to produce any more movies on the Jaws theme.

If the first movie is awful itself then it's out of contention for "worst sequel" as there's no step down. Transformers was terrible so the fact that Transformers 2 was also terrible doesn't mean much. There's a reason I didn't nominate Catman 2: Boxer's Blow
Caddyshack II is the correct answer. |
True. But any poll with "worst", "movies" and "ever" should include some mention of Michael Bay, at least.
Now you've made me curious about that masterpiece. That poster actually looks like a Nintendo NES game from the 80s... I'm sure that movie is quite magnificent.

As in the FOURTH self titled `Rambo' film?! That was a great film!! A real sense of tension in the last half, some very exciting and savage action, and he directed it far better than his own `Expendables' film. The raid on the enemy base at night in the rain was gripping! As for flabby, well, pretty sure he didn't take his shirt off in this one, so you might be right lol!

Rambo definitely loses here. Didn't live up to anything. Shouldn't make an action sequel of a man that old and flabby.

Any "worst sequel" poll that does not include Breakdance II: Electric Boogaloo is just heavy petting.

^ Well, I have forgotten most , but I remember some scenes. In one scene they are sneaking around in a cave, very overplayed , and there is smoke coming out of their mouths when they are breathing, to show how cold it is... and it looks ridiculous. I thought it was horrible but I guess it might be entertaining if you see it from another angle!
Great that you like Castlevania. It's a favourite of mine too, the music is really something else!

Hey Wilmon91! I love `Conan The Destroyer' lol! OK, so it's not grand and epic like the first one, but it's a hugely entertaining comic book styled movie! Grace Jones was great fun in it too! I found it quite fast paced and easy to watch when I saw it a few weeks ago for the first time in a long while. Don't remember much about `Highlander 3', it was a big improvement on the second one, but mostly a retread of the first one, and didn't advance the series story one bit. I think the swordfighting in it was the only slight positive? Love your Castlevania avatar, that old SNES game is one of my favourites!

I would have chosen Terminator 3 from the list, but I voted "Other": Conan the Destroyer.
Otherwise, maybe Highlander 3 . I don't remember any of it, only that it was awful, worse than 2.
The Exorcist II was also an incredibly bad sequel, especially considering how great the first movie was.
The Ring Two - another really bad sequel which I have entirely forgotten.

Looking at that picture you posted, Clooney LOOKED the part behind the mask, but he was very unconvicing when he actually acted in it. He was just too....George Clooney?? I think his only good scenes in that film are when he's with the frail Alfred, which were surpisingly touching. I did read recently that, although he knows how bad the film is and how ridiculed it is, he considers that film the biggest break he ever got in his career!

You posting all those `Batman and Robin' quotes just makes me want to watch it all over again! I find the film a huge guilty pleasure in a `so bad, it's good' way - just like Van Damme's technicolour `Streetfighter' movie!
I TOTALLY forgot about the fake Bat-lips bit! Totally out of the 60's show!
And I've actually not noticed that `Freeze in hell' line before! Love it!

I totally get you. It's a terrible film, but the script is so bad it's freaking hilarious. And I don't know who the hell must have thought of Clooney to portrait Batman. Worst choice ever. Besides:
Enough said.
