Topic: Chicago V Posted: July 28 2012 at 17:09 |
Probably my favourite Chicago album, i made a poll about it back in 2010 but it is locked and i feal it is better to open a new one, here i have putt together the two dialogues in one section, as they fit more together a very tight album, consis and no bs, crafty jazz/rock, compact fusion, and swingy funk pop, melodies, crunch, punsh and juice, is four tags i would put on the album it is a very fresh and juicy album

My favorites are CTA and Chicago II - probably the best jazz-fusion, proto-prog music they ever created together...

Exactly. Chicago's CTA and Chicago II were amazing, I stopped after that.

They were great through V. They were still very good through XI. After that, you're on your own.

Chicago V their most underrated album. They were firing on
all cylinders with this album and I really don’t think much compared after
it. Everything came together on this
album, horns, guitar, drums everything. It’s a tie for me, “State of the Union”
& “Dialogue I/II”.

"Saturday in the Park". It's the easy way out, but it's the best song on an incredible album. This album is way too obscure.
