A HUGE loss for progressive rock. I'm certain the band will now dedicate the new album to him. And no doubt it will be great. Michael and Annie recently said the new album could possibly be the best the band has ever produced, and with Michael's brilliant, memorable and timeless writing, I also have no doubt that this may be the case. R.I.P.  Michael. Indeed this is a very sad time for progressive rock fans.

God damn it.

At least his royalties will provide for them.

Imagine the burning embers
They glow below and above
Your sins you won't remember
And all you'll find there is love
Ashes are burning brightly
The smoke can be seen from afar
So now you're seeing how far
Ashes are burning the way
Ashes are burning the way

[moment of silence] No one lives forever, huh?

It's been a real pleasure listening to your work, man. RIP.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Yet another great loss.  Cry  Michael helped show us the softer side of Prog.  Life's novella is always too short.

Ashes are burning the way for this new ocean gypsy. Thank you for the music, maestro.
