Tragic news.  Thanks for all the great music, Michael.  So glad that I finally got to see Renaissance perform here in Massachusetts a couple of years ago.  RIP.

Oh, terrible news...

`Scherezaade' (spelling?) was one of the very first prog albums I heard, and I loved the band ever since. I've treasured so many of their albums, including their less-loved ones.

These days, I listen to Renaissance a lot when I'm on my quiet nightshift blocks, when there's not as many people in my office so I can pay extra attention to them.

So long and farewell to such an important member of a defining progressive rock band, and I'm sure we'll all enjoy their new album with newfound nostalgia when it shows up next year.

Yet another great loss.  Cry  Michael helped show us the softer side of Prog.  Life's novella is always too short.

[moment of silence] No one lives forever, huh?

It's been a real pleasure listening to your work, man. RIP.

Imagine the burning embers
They glow below and above
Your sins you won't remember
And all you'll find there is love
Ashes are burning brightly
The smoke can be seen from afar
So now you're seeing how far
Ashes are burning the way
Ashes are burning the way
