There's really no comparing them, which is why both of them, along with Clarkson, were pooled for one show.
Hammond has a childlike energy and enthusiasm that is always present.
May has the nostalgic spirit of a man who is in love with his childhood.

He has hosted other shows too. A brilliant one aabout ab raid nin the war and one about IK Brunell. And he had his own chat show and occasionally hosts have I got News for You and Robot vWars

I remember seeing him in a show where he visits some European countries to see if the people in each country matches the stereotypes about them. Think it was called "Clarkson visits the Neighbours" or something like that.

I like Hammond. But James May is great. Loved the constructions with lego, mechano and mucking around with train sets. The wine shows were good too.

Not being British I have probably missed a lot, but by what I know I prefer James May by far, I'm not too fond of Richard Hammond really, even if they both have names so closely connected to Prog Rock Wink
