Dear all
Greetings from Italy! I'd like to suggest my band, Soundrise, to be inserted in The Prog Archives. Check out the music here: Here is a short bio "Soundrise is a band from Triest (Italy), active since 2003. The band's music is a fusion of hard and progressive rock, also contaminated by a mix of its members musical tastes . Since its foundation the group has changed its formation several times. The only stable members are lead singer Walter Bosello and lead guitarist Dario Calandra. In early 2008 the band decides to take a leap forward by composing original songs. That's also when drummer Massimo Malabotta becomes part of the band. Led by the explosive creativity of frontman Walter Bosello, in September 2012 the band releases the debut album "Timelapse". The album, written by Bosello, Calandra and Malabotta is totally self-produced. In January 2012 Stefano Alessandrini joins Soundrise, as a keyboardist. In late 2012 the band is again fully formed with the group's new bassist Giorgio Pierobon." Here's our website (sorry: it's in Italian :P) http://www.soundrise.net/ And here are some pics: Please let us know ^__^ Walter |

Thanks David!
Hmm, I'm not sure how this will run in Heavy although Walter's solo project might have been a fit for Heavy. It ended up in Crossover and I can see Soundrise going the same way, but okay, let's try Heavy first.

^ You're probably right here, Chris. It certainly wasn't out and out Heavy Prog all the way through - just sounded to me as though that was the main component overall. One 'yes' vote is guaranteed in Crossover at least!
