I seem to remember myself really digging this thing last time I put it on. Kinda surprised me.

It's good solid symph, a lot like Marillion but closer to home.    But yeah it is not surprising music so when it shines it's very good.

I've heard a lot of folks talking about it as the first real neo prog album, if such a thing exists. But you're right about the Marillion comparison though - I too sense a very similar sound in both, especially in the vocal department.

yes I was pondering whether to make the same observation when I review it; first real Neo, or last real Symph ?    But that's a bit trite, so

Well it's all down to how you choose to serve it up really....

I would love to read a review from you soon though.

This is true though I frequently have to remind myself of it.   Thanks, Dave.

^^Looks like Dave and Dave are churning some decent butter up their. Lol

Anyway. Paradox LI: Collision Course by Royal Hunt. Loved the first album, so why not.
How Transatlantic's Kaleidoscope beat IQ's The Road Of Bones in the Prog album of the year category at this years Prog awards (2014) is beyond me.
