This is definitely a contest . I already voted Cirkus but I'm rethinking that

Agreed, though apart from this track and Knots I'm not a big fan of Octopus overall.

Ah yeah, I always get it mixed up with the Advent of Panurge. So replace what I said with Advent and it still holds true.

Pantagruel's Nativity easily, though I love King Crimson, Lizard is one of the few albums I could NEVER get into (along with Islands), to the point where I sold both.

I loved it back when he was small and yellow. So easy to travel with, he could fit in the palm of your hand, and he'd love to finish your crumbs after cake eating and other such frivolous back stage antics.

Wow, what a good poll! This is very, very difficult. Okay, I vote for Pantagruel's Nativity.

Cirkus definitely. Love the discordant intervals followed by Fripp ripping through acoustic riffs and the mellow sax.

Cirkus is one of my fave Crimso songs...what am I saying, it's one of my favorite songs period! Pantagruel's a great song too but Cirkus is just so heavy and dark it's amazing. There's an unbelievable live version of Cirkus on the King Crimson Collector's Club Live in Detroit, 1972 2 CD set. They slow the song tempo way down and it just makes it seem even more menacing than usual...amazing song.

KC may be my favorite prog band of all time......so I had to go with Circus, but ATT by GG is my favorite lp by them but I don't think it's easy to compre certain tracks with others like that.
