I'll just say it right now, I really like these guys. They have an incredible sense of music, and they juxtapose intense thrash power with melodic, complex musicianship in a way few other bands (opinion!) did.

Starting up in Sao Paolo, Brazil in 1989, they released two albums and two EPs/demos, each showcasing a proggy sensibility and thrashy technicality.

A truly amazing song that really shows off their ability to apply variance in texture and sound, coupled with incredible levels of complexity for thrash metal. And next up, even better! A flagship song by the band that helps to showcase their extreme side:

Finally, something from their very first release to validate that the complexity has always been there (and personal favorite of mine from time to time):

I think these guys really exhibit a lot of proggy qualities, and their thrash metal technicality makes them a perfect fit for Tech/Extreme Metal

No problem Smile

I also figured they would work in just prog metal, since a good deal of their songs feature melodicism and more traditional progressive metal tendencies, as opposed to the Tech/Extreme branch

Technical thrash metal indeed, but cannot really see the progressive elements...see what the rest of the guys think

I figured the progressiveness really came out in songs where they play back and forth between heavy and light, complex shredding in differing time signatures and melodic, chord-focused sections.
