Breathless.
Echoes is one of their best songs.
I see it as Camel's Hold Your Fire.

I'll give some love to I Can See Your House From Here. Rain Dances is a bit overrated, kind of bland. Rajaz is very nice.

Even `Stationary Traveller' has wonderful stuff on it, very melodic poppy album with suberb standout playing from Latimer.
Even `I can See Your House From Here' is a great mix of pop and prog, as long as you skip (or destroy would be better!) `Remote Romance' and `Neon Magic' lol!

Could'nt agree more !

Only two I don't like in this list ; Breathless and The Single factor.
The rest range from very good to masterpiece.
Nude gets my vote as the masterpiece of the lot.

Definitely agree with Snowy here! I was very surprised that after the magnificent Rajaz the band could pull off another brilliant album such as A Nod... Another special mention goes to Nude!

First vote for Stationary Traveller from me. It will always have a special meaning for me, as it was probably the first Camel album I listened too, apart from the live (probably bootlegged) versions of what have become the Camel on the Road' albums.
Bought the cassette when at university in the 80s, and loved it, and then that led to the wonderful exploration of all their other albums, which ultimately led to Camel becoming my favourite band. Got the Pressure Points album which was released shortly afterwards too.

Rain Dances isn't considered "classic era"? It's my favorite Camel album...I would otherwise have voted for Stationary Traveller. | It probably is by many, but for this poll series I wanted to reach at least 3.8 or 3.9 to make it in if it was at the beginning or end of the list.

Went with "Rain Dances", even though new bassist Richard Sinclair seemed to signal a jazzier take on prog - which I didn't like much - I love "Unevensong"...

I voted Rain Dances as it's my fav Camel record.
I think Breathless is underrated and contains their best song - Echoes (IMHO)
