I's ultimately between Rock Bottom, Mixtus Orbis, and Ash Ra Temple for me.  Those albums have been really special to me.  I also like K.A. conisderably, but it's not a favourite album of mine.  Mixtus Orbis is certainly the one of these that I have spun the most over the last couple of years, but I have to give it to Rock Bottom which was an incredibly inflential/ important album to me on my musical journey.

By the way, I like that Cardiacs album considerably (haven't played it nearly as much as Sing to God), but I wish that a RIO album was leading the category.

Ash Ra Tempel isn't nearly my favourite krautrock album, but that doesn't make it any less good.

I agree on both accounts. Think I gave it 4,5 stars - but that's just numbers. Great album even if I prefer their sophomore release Join Inn, which follows the same 'structure' as the debut. One crazy rocker and a sombre and beautiful electronic piece.

BTW after you and others round this place have been singing Faust So Far's praises , including one of my fave reviewers Neu!mann, I decided to spin it again - and damn it if you guys weren't right. It's fast becoming a serious addiction. Thanks man.

I've never actually listened to Ash Ra. I love Krautrock, Can, Neu!, Kraftwerk, you know all that good stuff. But it's one of those genres I think I love more than I actually do. There's still a lot of ground I have to cover.

Oh god, that album is f*cked. In fact, Faust is just f*cked in general. I only put those guys on when I'm really in the mood. Just bizarre.

Definitely listen to Ash Ra Tempel's debut, Amon Duul II's first few albums as well. Excellent stuff!

Yeah, I've got Amon Duul checked. I keep forgetting about them. They're decent though. But thanks for the rec man. I'll definitely get on that.

Hmmm, this is a tricky little one.

I don't know more than half of these but the choice from those I do know is quite tough, though had Wish You Were Here been included that would have been automatic.

Rubycon gets my vote ahead of Moving Pictures and Ash Ra Tempel.

This is the one where I forgot the Psyche option (WYWH it was when I made the poll). And I spelled 'Theater' wrong.

I'mma make another one, it might be slightly different.
