Kraan Live 75 is also missing, a very good album. Also Agitation Free......At the Cliffs of the River Rhine.

Arghh snap! I keep forgetting about that one  I've heard it a couple of times online, and I really need to go get a hard copy of it asap. Some things deserve the full stereo whack. Now I just need to go dig up some gold. Zero dineros at the moment.
Edit:  You've got excellent taste Tim. Damn....First that SBB record and now with ze Germans (Incidentally also two albums I just reviewed)! I love that Agitation Free album. People into the late 60s American westcoast psych should definitely go look for it. I can listen to it for days on end. The word fluid is a monumental understatement, when we're talking about this release. Yummy!

USA for me. This live recording of Exiles is my single fave prog track of all time.
For the 2nd part of the question...I attended a show on the tour that the following were recorded:
Playing the Fool - Gentle Giant '76 (GG opened for Yes - Cow Palace in SF) Bursting Out - Jethro Tull '78 (Uriah Heep opened for JT - Oakland Arena) Seconds Out - Genesis '77 (no support act - Winterland Ballroom in SF) Two for the Show - Kansas '78 (The Cars, Thin Lizzy, & Kansas was the headliner - Cow Palace in SF)

That's what I love about this forum. On PA it's actually preferable to be old  Man I'd give my right ankle to go back and see Floyd/Genesis/TD/Amon Düül ll/Insert drool item here....

Haven't heard all of these, but I'm throwing in a vote nonetheless.
Hmm...I think I'll give my vote to Vital. The sound's not great, but the energetic performance more than makes up for that, IMO.
Bursting Out follows closely in second place.

I would have gone for Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii... though it was not an album, but a video, and it was live, but without an audience, so...
Or else, I would have gone with Ummagummas live disc, but the album is one live disc and one studio.

Seconds Out, followed by Bursting Out. If we were talking about newer releases from the 70s, I'd say Jethro Tull's Nothing Is Easy:Live at the Isle of Wight. Phenomenal Live recording.
