Agreed, is it not possible for a band to evolve into a more progressive style to then get accepted here? A lot of the extreme metal bands at PA started off as pure black metal, Enslaved for instance.
I think the fact nobody is really able to pin a specific genre on Vulture Industries must surely make them avant-garde? There's jazz, metal, black metal, Patton-esque vocals
