Fellow proggers!
I have a serious question for you all: why isn't Nigel Mazlyn Jones included in PA? He is, as far as I am concerned, prog folk if there ever was one. Listen to "Ship to shore" for instance. Amazing progressive stuff, steeped in folk and mystery. /C. |

Hi Christian
I must admit that I haven't heard about him before. Also, for future reference, you have to include some music in your post, if you want people to evaluate the given act for inclusion. Don't worry though, we've got folks on here who've been here since W.W.ll and they are still not doing this... I found some YouTube vids though so we can get things moving His website: http://www.nigelmazlynjones.com/ I'm sending this down by the folkers for an eval

Haha! Then I needn't be ashamed then. 😜
Thanks for the uploads! It's logical to put up snippets of music, obviously. Have you had a chance to listen? What did you think of ye olde Mazlyn? 😃 Christian |

Hi Christian!
Sorry for the late reply, I had something in the oven... I enjoyed him so much that I scribbled his name down on my to-get list, which by now is spanning some 2 pages I really really digged the title track of the Ship to Shore album - and those BBC commissioned pieces are very good as well. Thanks man!

Hi there!
It just so happens that I pressed the "Post reply" button before my message was even written. 😜 You're welcome! That makes me so glad, that you enjoyed Mazly Jones. I have a severe soft spot for his music, so it makes me happy when others acknowledge him aswell. The track "Ship to shore" is a magnificent piece of music. Just brilliant. /Christian |

Hey don't sweat it. I remember when I started visiting the forums. Man I made some funny looking posts myself, and you're no way near that level of tomfoolery, trust me
I feel much the same when other people can relate to fave music of mine - especially when it's rare artists and you think you're the only one who recognises the greatness. Have a nice weekend!
