Oh wow i've been searching everywhere for this band and suddenly found this topic. Thank you amapofthepiano! This site now seems to be the only reliable source of information where you can find everything in one place. I've also checked out iamthemorning and i can clearly say that this is going to be one of my favorites. You've got a wonderful taste!

^  Don't forget, there is nothing to stop you adding the missing album yourself... Wink Just go to http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=8737, click the add albums link, log in again -  and you're away!

Even the mighty discogs only lists two releases for these guys though: http://www.discogs.com/artist/805263-Grand-Silent-System-The.

There was also an earlier EP - simply titled '1' - which also needs to be added - (see Marjana's o.p.)

^Only one out of two albums was added. 'Everyone Lies Alone' (2004) is omitted.

I didn't even see him mentioning this project anywhere... maybe it would be ok to go with the short biography they use on official resources? Anyhow, here's his page: https://www.facebook.com/dailymelodies
The band has now been added to the site - but I will contact him to see if we can get an improved bio. Thanks for this

Honestly, I have no idea.  I can't think of any way to contact them, either.  They are on a break, though.

Guys. I have tried contacting TGSS through their Facebook page, but haven't had a response to either of the emails and no-one has posted on it since November last year so it doesn't seem very active. I've been looking at various biographies on the web, and there really seem to be just two versions around - one from 2004 and the even smaller one on their MySpace page. Has anyone got any contact details that actually work, or know enough about them to volunteer to write one for me?

They were actually cleared four months ago (to say we are behind on adding artists is an understatement but we're making progress) so if anyone can help that would be appreciated. I don't really want to just throw up an outdated small version just to get them onto the site, but if we don't have something soon that's all I can do.

Looks to me like Jason may know enough.. (hint)....

Yes I also like Lunatic Soul, let's hope that Mariusz Duda sings on the new album. Anathema is always great, Daniel Cavanagh is a great songwriter. Tool on the other hand I don't trust, they have to give me a name and date on the album for me to believe it. Some bands and artists albums that I look forward to next year are,Transatlantic, IQ, Phideaux, Discipline, Matthew Parmenter, and of course iamthemorning. Thumbs Up

Also Anathema and Tool (!) but after all these years i almost don't believe anything they say about releasing anything new.

Yes, Lunatic Soul is my #1 most anticipated album next year.  The other three albums are simply masterful, in my opinion.  I can't wait!

Yes, I was just tallying them all, and I realized that 2014 will be very busy.  The more the merrier!

I don't know if 2014 is less crowded, because I know of at least a few bands and artists that is coming up with new albums already early next year. Remember there is also always surprises that comes from out of nowhere.

Yes I know you wanted to release it this year, but now you have more time to make it even better.

Good to hear!  I was guessing as much, as she took over at a moment's notice.
