All excellent albums, but Soundtrack stand out, especially Side 1. Just today I picked up the Consequence box....found an original LP set in decent condition for $5. Can't wait to get it home and check out the gizmo.

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

I reckon Original Soundtrack. Blackmail is one hell of a song.

I voted Soundtrack to help it catch up.
It was the first of several albums I bought by the band.

(To be honest, How Dare You is a great album and this was almost a coin toss)

Good thread here. The Original Soundtrack was quite beautiful in parts, but Sheet Music truly got me into the band with its jumping off at any ol' point, composition-wise. Eric Stewart's guitar was ferociously delicious on key songs, and the group's harmonizing was superb throughout.

I'd put the debut in there rather than Deceptive Bends. I'll go with The Original Soundtrack, and then Sheet Music.

Soundtrack. I was a fan of those first few albums (post Sheet music) and while it's hard to choose between Soundtrack and Dare, I'll go Soundtrack.

How Dare You followed by Sheet Music. I think they peaked on HDY, with an excellent set of songs and a superb shimmering production, plus some great guitar work from Eric Stewart. I'm Mandy Fly Me is the ultimate prog-pop song.

What's it like? I've been interesting in hearing this for years but you don't seem to be able to get it anywhere.

Sheet Music. An under-appreciated classic.

To be frank it's pretty boring really. One of the most disappointing concept (?) albums I can think of.

The complete work is on You Tube btw.

Music From Consequences/L - Godley & Creme
For those who are afraid by Consequences, check out this album which contains only the songs of Consequences and the wonderful L.

Sheet music is arguably the cleverest Art Rock album ever. Virtually perfect.
