	I chose 1977 because that was the last good lp by Yes , Going For The one, imho that signaled the end of an era. A good a reason as any ...I suppose. ;)

	1977 for me. That was the last year two of the classic prog bands produced classic albums. KC had given up in 1974, Tull were still very good, but not as good as before, but Genesis had lost Hackett that year and had started their artistic decline, but Yes and Floyd soldiered on with two of their best albums; GFTO and Animals respectively. 	1974 - ELP temporarily stopped recording and touring; Gabriel left Genesis; Fripp disbanded Crimson; Daevid Allen left Gong; Yes stopped recording temporarily; Tull went back to a shorter song format. Some of those things may have actually happened in '75, but you get the idea.

	As said, 1974 because not only were all these people leaving bands and even disbanding, but there was also the last great, classic recordings by these bands: Yes - Relayer, King Crimson - Red, Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down (in my opinion), etc.

	Kind of hard to say but I'll go with 1978. Sure, albums like "nude,""drama" "silent cries and mighty echoes" "danger money" and "moving pictures" came out later but for most part prog was done at least as far as commercial acceptance and exposure are concerned.
