What's your favorite song from each Pink Floyd album? I'm just sticking with studio albums on my list, as that's all I'm familiar with.

A Saucerful of Secrets - Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun
Ummagumma - Careful with That Axe Eugene
Atom Heart Mother - Atom Heart Mother
Meddle - Echoes
Dark Side of the Moon - Us and Them
Wish You Were Here - Shine on You Crazy Diamond - Part II
Animals - Sheep
The Wall - Run Like Hell
The Final Cut - None
A Momentary Lapse of Reason - Sorrow
The Divisions Bell - High Hopes

More - The Nile Song
Umma - Astronomy Domine

The Wall - The Happiest Days of Our Lives
Final - The Fletcher Memorial Home
Reason - Sorrow

Don't think I've ever heard it. I've certainly never owned a copy.

It's a more songbased Floyd album than any of the other releases surrounding it, but I think it's a real charmer. Admittedly, I had some real difficulties getting into it back when I first got it, but then again I was mostly into Animals and Atom Heart Mother at the time. I don't often use the word underrated, and I won't - don't worry....I will say this though, for a Floyd album released during their heyday, Obscured by Clouds does seem to be somewhat overlooked, and that is a shame imho.

Overlooked, definitely. I have to be honest I was not even aware of it until I joined this forum back in 2004. I was never a huge fan of pre Meddle Floyd anyway. The Barret stuff I found a little irritating, and when he left they seemed to be fumbling around in the dark for a while trying to find themselves.

More: Crying Song
Ummagumma (studio):  Sysyphus
Ummagumma (live):  Astronomy Domine
Relics:  Paint Box (totally love this song)
Atom Heart Mother:  Atom Heart Mother Suite - my overall favorite Floyd song, maybe my top 5 among all songs
Meddle:  A Pillow of Winds (or maybe Echoes of course, but I think I've listened to that one too much)
Obscured by Gnats:  Free Four
Dark Side of the Moon:  Time, mainly for the guitar solo, maybe the best solo ever played by anyone
Wish You Were Here:  Welcome to the Machine
Animals:  Pigs (Three Different Ones)
The Wall:  Hey You or Nobody Home
The Final Cut:  Two Suns in the Sunset
Momentary Lapse:  On the Turning Away
