I suggest Dutch guitarist and composer Joop Wolters. In the past he played in the prog-metal band Arabesque and now he is on solo carier. His musical style puts together instrumental progressive metal tunes with jazz/fusion elements. Very interesting is 4th studio album False Poetry.
