Rush because of Counterparts.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night. |

Of the Rush ones I really enjoy Counterparts, but I haven't heard the KC ones in full, so no vote.

Like to add the hidden Crim the work they did with David Sylvian. It's not called KC but if you're going to include the projeKcts so then this should include the studio and live albums they did.
Loved Counterparts but KC went from strength to more... can't lose really... |

KC for me as I don't really like 90's Rush.

It's a depressing album to listen to considering the raw talent on it |

King Crimson only had one album in the nineties(which I never heard the whole thing of) so I voted for Rush. Not fair maybe but that's life.

You could still vote for Rush like I did though. It's not your fault they didn't put a "I haven't heard both so I won't vote" option.

Rush, by a narrow margin. Mainly thanks to Counterparts. Thrak is the only KC 90's offering. It's an excellent album, but not quite as good as Counterparts.

Rush
I do enjoy 90s KC, at least their 90s work is more enjoyable (to me) than what they did in the 80s.

An odd comparison theme in that KC only had one LP and Rush had 3....but even so imho Thrak is a far more interesting album.

Not familiar with THRAK and although I'm a huge Rush fan, their 90s output isn't my favorite. Counterparts is great. Test For Echo is uneven, and the less said about Roll The Bones the better.

^Joking? Or become insane?
Edit: Sorry, took me some while I understood what you´re saying. Saturdays, my brains doesn´t function even that little... But anyway with that power you put saying how most KC albums in your opinion are bad, I could have say you hate them. Edited by Mortte - April 27 2018 at 22:28 |
