That was an outstanding race, in my opinion. Shame the weather cut it short. I was hoping the #24 could challenge for another top-ten finish.

Indeed!

It does seem that in Indy the top drivers are kind of inconsistent (RHR or Power, while more steady ones tend to get like 1 win a year (Helio).
Oh and poor Hinch who just has crap luck.
Maybe Pagenaud can be a sleeper threat?

He's certainly looked like a genuine contender this year and has already won 2 races.

It does sound like fun but Mathias will win it easily, he's a fair bit older and has raced single seaters up to GP2 level and raced in the DTM and GT's for years, Freddie hasn't done any racing for 4 or 5 years.

True, although it sounds like Freddie is getting something together to eventually get to LMP2.  It's just too bad that he has a gap now in his career.  He'll be a bit behind in his experience.

Another poll for Rosberg, Hamilton looked like the faster driver but his right front brake disc failed half way through Q1, it's confirmed he'll start from the pit lane. Great job by Magnussen for 4th. Given that Rosberg doesn't seem able to get off the line quickly I reckon Bottas will grab the lead early on.

Great work by the Williams and also Magnussen, and Kvyat reconfirms that he is not in F1 by chance. Gonna be a though one for Hamilton.

Button...Unhappy  Outpaced by Mags all weekend long so far.  Doesn't look for JB, especially with all these rumors flying around that he could be ousted from McLaren for 2015.

And IndyCar will have two races tomorrow since today's was rained out.  Crazy on track activity, though, with the pace car spinning during the warm up laps.

^ At this rate, is that such a bad thing?

And wow...never seen that before! No wonder they had to call it.

I'm sorry, since I know there are Button lovers here, but I think it's just being realistic...will he retain his current ride for 2015? Was a good stretch Button, proved a lot of people wrong and became that British champion so many expected after all...but I think it's time someone better gets his seat.

Crazy indeed! Looks like Indy is tightening up a bit to boot...this shall be a good rest of the season.

Unless Alonso's ready to leave Ferrari and return to McLaren, I really don't think there's anyone out there thats definitely better than Button that's available. Grosjean's ultimate ability is hard to tell at the moment and though I reckon Hulk is probably a bit faster but has already been turned down due to weight considerations once and is notably hard on his rear tyres. The only other guys out there worth looking at are tied down to other teams (Bottas with Williams, Bianchi with Ferrari, Kvyat with Red Bull).

Excellent race, the wheel to wheel action throughout was brilliant. A shame for Massa, thats 3 races in a row that he;s been taken out by someone, though this time I'd say it was an unfortunate racing incident with Magnussen.

Good race and it's funny, because I usually disagree with Lewis Hamilton, but today I have to agree with him about the lack of safety for Sutil's stalled car in the middle of the track.  It was off the racing the line, but that still could've been bad.  That's usually an automatic SC.

And I know Button's career is towards it's end, but I feel like he's still plenty fast if McLaren could get their crap together.  He won three races in 2012 before the team plummeted last year, so he can still win.

In Toronto today, Sebastian Bourdais won the first race and Mike Conway just took the checkers for the second race.  Castroneves had some wing issues at the end of the second race with Will Power taking third, so the points are tightening up now.  I can't wait to go to the Sonoma race in August for the next to last round of the season to see how the championship shapes up.

^ Yeah...some sh*t luck for Castroneves there. Shame IMO. Though, it does feel weird to be rooting against Power.

Bourdais's first single seater win since Mexico City 2007!

Interesting how this season is ending up as a fight between the perennial bridesmaids Catsroneves and Power.

I actually don't mind Power, but Helio is one of my favorite drivers and since he's come so close to a championship, I'm hoping so bad that he can seal the deal this year.
