Sand is the solo project by North Atlantic Oscillation vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Sam Healy. Sand's first studio LP was released on Ksope in 2013 and it mainly shares the same musical path with North Atlantic Oscillation, creating very melodic and accessible yet unique and progressive sound, influenced by Talk Talk and Radiohead and incorporating elements from alternative rock, symphonic rock and electronic music.
Since North Atlantic Oscillation are on the archives, I can't find a legitimate reason to ignore Sand. |

Wow I am really digging this stuff. Somewhere between Sigur Ros, Flamin Lips and dream pop. Definitely looking out for this act in the future, so thanks a bunch Ole
I don't hear any prog though, which isn't a bad sign at all imho.

Yea, I've been listening to the album and I'm sad I agree.
