Just wanted to remind Beatles fans that the 50th Anniversary show is on tonight on CBS. Check you local listings for times.

Doesn't look promising to me...

^ Yep.

Especially considering the Olympics are on.

Surprisingly enjoyable, actually.  Nothing "great", but good songs played fairly well.
(I don't care about the Olympics.)

Yeah, I suppose that last line kind of made it seem like I would have watched it if it wasn't for the Olympics. Which is untrue. I would have never watched it.

Some good moments, some bad ones.   I must say, though I'm not a big McCartney fan, it's getting to where when Paul talks you kinda have to listen.   His Sgt. Pepper's was my fave from the show, most of the other artists' interpretations were unremarkable.

I saw most of the first hour, DVR'd the rest.  Jeff Lynne sounded great on "Something", I sometimes forget what a nice voice he has.

Katy Perry was terrible.  And I generally don't mind her at all.

Yeah Jeff Lynne/Joe Walsh/Danny Harrison was one of the better performances of the night.

The show was better than I was expecting. Though it was too long.

Jeff Lynne, Joe Walsh and Dhani Harrison's "Something" was my favorite performance from the guest performers.

Ringo was a lot of fun with "Yellow Submarine". I liked Paul's "Get Back" the best from him. I enjoyed "With A Little Help From My Friends" the most from both of them.

Eric Idle was funny!

I enjoyed the history segments of each of the Beatles.

Wish they had full performances of them from the Sullivan show.

I'm watching the repeat.  It's not bad.  (well, bits of it were)
