Topic: Subgenres Knockout Poll Pt 13 Posted: February 17 2014 at 03:56 |
They were level at 17 votes each, and at 23 votes each and at 27 votes each, so both RPI and Krautrock have been knocked out together.
Eclectic Prog had zero votes last time.

Canterbury scene has to go but I guess there will be a battle between jazz rock and symphonic prog so I'll have to vote for jazz rock this time, anyway I will wait and see.

I switch to JR/F now. It may even be not my least favourite subgenre, but RIO, as one of the basic subgenres which make up prog, was knocked out earlier. So I won''t knock down Canterbury and turn back to voting my least favourite, or the subgenres which I am least familiar with. That said, the choice was between JR/F and Psych/Space.

I don't dislike any of those genres left.............hard to pick.
Went with crossover prog since I probably play bands in that that category the least.

went with canterbury, I mean, at least RPI is based on an entire country, but canterbury is based on what...a county, township, or borough?
