I think it may just be time to accept...Stafford is a very good, but inconsistent QB. Which, isn't bad. I mean we all would love a Rodgers or Brady or Peyton but seems that separates the good from the elite. QBs that are good, even very good, can be inconsistent. Heck, even Brees has his fall behind, manic comeback games often.

Speaking of which, shockingly good game from Geno SmithShocked
Oh, and Peyton...quietly subdued last 4 games for him. Resting? Injured? Get the run game more involved? Grand hustle before he unleashes in the playoffs? LOL

Yes, I hope Dallas goes down first round! Besides that...guess I don't really have any preferences, but Seattle/Green Bay and Denver/NE would be fun. Though I'd love to see some others mix it in, like Detroit or Cincy. I just have near 0 expectations it will happen! I actually think Pittsburgh is a darkhorse. Haven't been a favorite this year, and had down years recently, but Ben and co are on FIRE right now. Bell is a beast. They could be the one to surprise I think.

Giants have kept Tom Coughlin as coach, as well as Jerry Reese as GM, but are "discussing possible coaching changes" aka defensive coordinator.
This is the exact news we all were hoping for!

Rumors are...Steve Spagnuolo would be a candidate to replace Fewell as DC, a move which would at least make Giants fans overjoyed.

Agreed, from a Pats fan perspective they are the biggest threat.  Was glad to see them win last night so Denver can deal with 'em first.  Although the Ravens always play them tough, Ravens just didn't look impressive this year so I think Steelers/Broncos will happen.

As a Pittsburg fan I wish the defense was better, I can't see them stopping too many teams but at least they score a lot. Baltimore will be hell for them just because they are such bitter rivals. It could go either way.

Yes, the defense has issues in the secondary and has gotten torched a lot this season.  I am worried about Bell possibly not being able to play Saturday also.

I guess this is the way it should be, Steelers vs Ravens.  Would have liked it better if they would have met in the AFC championship instead of wildcard...Big smile.

Suh got suspended for wildcard game for the deliberate stepping on Rodger's ankle/leg. Shocked

That's the big one for me. Without Bell the Steelers chances plummet IMO. Not saying that can't win...but it will be much tougher...especially against the Broncos/Pats.

^ True that Phil. If Bell is out and they can't get a running game going Suggs and company will be pinning their ears back and chasing Ben all day.

Romo must have smiled when he saw that Suh won't be in Detroit's lineup. I think this still might be a heck of a game.

I have finally come to the sad conclusion, after fighting the feeling for 40 some years, that the Lions are cursed. There is no other explanation, no sensible reasons, no scientific theory that can explain it. It's a damn curse, and this Suh thing is just the f*cking cherry on top of the f*cking cake. Un-f*cking-believable.

Onto 2015.

I'll split the two opinions. I think it'll be a fairly close game through 2 1/2-3 quarters but then Dallas will take control.

But believe me, I'll be rooting for those Lions!

I feel your frustration.  We're so close to being one of the elite teams, and yet, we'll never get there.  Not with this group.

Suh won his appeal somehow(must admit I haven't seen the footage yet) so he's playing against Dallas.

At least he's learned to hide his controversial plays somewhat well.

I did just look at the play. Even in slow-motion, it doesn't look intentional to me. Confused

But he does have an understandably bad reputation that will probably follow him for the rest of his career.

Idk...it's hard to look at that and think he intended to injure.

However, there really isn't anything to prove intent, so I suppose I can understand why it was reversed.

Playoff time!

I want to say Cardinals have this game, that defense is stifling and Carolina just has not been an offensive team, sans these last couple of weeks, their defense has really fallen off from last year. Only thing is Arizona has 0 offense, and Carolina is on hot streak...

Tonight I gotta go with Pitt. Baltimore is iffy and I don't think they can hold up defensively. I wanna say that game will be a shootout, so watch it be 4-2 LOL

Indy/Cincy is a real toss up with how whack those teams are, but lean Indy and Detroit/Dallas....very tough game. I think Dallas will prob win, BUT I'll be a crazed fan and say Dallas goes down, their defense won't manage to hang with Megatron and co and Lions gut out a win. Honestly Suh may not make much difference against that O line.

So:
Arizona
Pittsburgh
Indy
Detroit
