I'm like that too - I prefer not to hear sample previews of highly anticipated albums. I sometimes check them out anyway however. Doesn't really hurt too bad.

Yeah, I've caved on a couple this year, Mess included. They weren't ruined really, but there's always something special about exploring the album which you can't really do as effectively with streaming.

If I ever released a record, you'd hear about it.

I had all the sound files as icons on my desktop for almost a year now which kinda made me feel stressed, so a couple days ago I put them in a folder with a clean state of mind. I might use them, I might not. Hell, I don't even want to know when I'll touch music next. That good I think, it seems awful to just rush it when there's no need to. But before the next world war seems like a good time frame.
 
I figured I'd definitely have heard of it before now, I just momentarily forgot what you'd posted.
