Hi all,
finally subscribing :) Writing from Verona, Italy. I listen to many kind of music for my daytime job (producer and studio engineer) but my heart remains mainly for prog in many variations of that style of music. I've known Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Camel, UK, etc in my youth and then I've passed through all the new prog era in the eighties and now I love to discover new bands and artists (loving so much Frost* and Haken lately). I tend to prefer more melodic music but I love also strong experimentation. In my studio sometimes I also produce some prog stuff like the last Logos album "l'enigma della vita" which I mixed, mastered and in part co-produced. My nickname belongs from my own prog rock project recently released, currently featured on Progstreaming: I hope that's not wrong or incorrect leaving some links here :) cheers Fabio :) www.rosenkreutz.net https://www.facebook.com/rosenkreutzband http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IX4pbNYG8I&feature=youtu.be

Hey there Fabio!
We've actually spoken about Røsenkreütz on Facebook before! Hmmm, I think we should go about getting the band proposed for the Prog Archives...I have a feeling they should be listed as a `Crossover Prog' band. I know the band is Italian, but they have more in common with the Crossover-type acts than proper vintage Italian prog! Your album is superb, so hopefully we can get the band on the site and get some good reviews posted! |

Thank you Michael
Yes, my sound is definitively not "italian oriented" or better, not in a way people could expect (I've always been influenced by classic british prog, even though I perfectly know and appreciate the story of italian prog) Thanks for your suggestion! Ciao Fabio

No worries Fabio!
If you have Youtube clips of one or two of your tracks from the album, it would be easy to make a post on the `Suggest New Bands thread' - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=1 eg `Rosenkreutz' for Crossover Prog A quick biography, links to your website and those clips should be enough to get the band looked at by the team! Would you have any complete tracks on Youtube from the album? |

Thanks Rivertree, wasn't sure if that was enough!
OK, Fabio, I've just created this topic for you! http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=98978 Hopefully this will lead the Crossover Team to investigate if you belong under that genre on the Prog Archives! And I hope you agree with my description of your album! |

Welcome .
I'm just listening to the album right now on Progstreaming. Sounds good. As far as I have heard it until now, I think Aussie-B-B's description fits the album well enough.

Yes Michael, thanks for opening the thread
I think that your description is good maybe Asia wasn't really my starting point but surely some influences are there I'm very happy with this project because I'm finally coming back to my roots after years buried in studio doing music for the others and iI'm also enjoying so much the rehearsal for the live debut: too much time far from stage....
