The guy from Hacken is very cool for me. I just got some Devin Townsend, and I find him really good too... very versatile. If we could consider Nightwish, Epica, After Forever, Rhapsody Prog Metal, then I would include their singers too (Tarja, Floor, Simone, Flavio Leone... though not Anette, of course).

Bruce Dickinson (though debatable about being 'true' Prog)
I don't listen to much Prog-Metal, though Riverside's Mariusz Duda is superb, and he's Polish (from Poland, and he shines too )

All of Prog metal? Or just the cheesy power metal side of it?

If the latter then Geoff Tate.

Yeah, Damian's awesome! Ted Leonard's great, too. He and Damian are sort of each other's counterpart on either side of the Pond.

Jon Oliva has been mentioned, and in his prime he was a force to be reckoned with, like a raspier version of Geoff Tate.

Fates Warning's Ray Alder is another singer whose prime years still leave me awestruck. He still sings reasonably well, but along with Tate, Wilson and Oliva, his performances on Fates' four 1988-1994 albums are something of a measuring stick for many other singers in the genre, IMO.

And while Uriah Heep aren't progressive metal, onetime singer John Lawton did previously sing for Lucifer's Friend, and subsequently fronted some harder rocking acts like Rebel. Lucifer's Friend's last album with Lawton, titled Mind Exploding, is a heavy prog classic that borders prog-metal territory the way 2112 does.

I do like Maynard James Keenan, and I've liked Tool since they were new on the scene with only one album out, but I don't think he's quite the singer those other guys are.

verslibre, unfortunately to John Lawton his predecessor David Byron was and is one of the best vocalists that ever has existed. This is my ultimate fav track and album from Uriah Heep and only ever performed 3 times live during Ken Hensley and Byron era.
