I like DT a lot and James LaBrie too, however at times I cringe (while knowing it is coming) his vocals (pitch) are not always on point tho' LOLHug

Also love DT, and also agree LaBrie can be a bit, er, "hit and miss"!  I love it when he is more mellow (for example, on Beneath The Surface.  He's also amazing as a guest vocalist on The Human Equation by AyreonCool

More shouts for Damian Wilson and Devin Townsend (mad as a box of frogs on acid, but what a voiceClapClapClap)

Daniel Gildenlöw (Pain of Salvation), Jon Oliva (Savatage, Pain) and Mike Baker (Shadow Gallery) are the first three that come to mind, but since it says 'vocalist' and no indication of gender is given, I think Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering, The Gentle Storm) must be somewhere in between these three, too.

Have to admit to not having a real favourite though, they all have their time and place in my playlist. ;-)

Daniel Gildenlöw He is best known as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist for the prog metal band pain of salvation. He was also an official member of the band The Flower Kings :)

^Geoff Tate is an amazing vocalist too, it's a shame that he was kicked out of Queensryche. Ouch

I'll have to stick with Geoff Tate. It was his voice that drew me to Queensryche in the first place. I have a soft spot for that high pitch style, so I also like James LaBrie.   Daniel Gildenlow is still pretty new to me but I am impressed. I've purchased three of their recordings in the past nine months. Sometimes, he sounds like Geoff Tate on Perfect Element to my ears. And then there is Mariusz Duda. His voice is beautiful but not the most 'metal' sounding.
I'm surprised how many people mentioned Keenan. I never thought of his voice as more than 'good.'
More heavy prog, please!
